1.8 mile hike: Hudson Springs Park, located on the east side of Stow Road between Middleton and Route 303 in Hudson Ohio. When entering the park, park in the larger parking lot to the left. The entrance to the hiking path will be located back across the park’s road, slightly to the right. The path crosses over the brook to start with. Follow this path as you pass the boat storage to the left. After passing the first bench, stay to the left when you come to a fork in the path. After crossing over a bridge, you’ll see a trash can. Stay to the right at the fork in the path. You’ll now pass the 3rd, 4th, and 5th benches. Stay to the left. Cross over a wooden platform. After passing the 6th bench, you will come to the - Midpoint - sign. After the sign and the 7th bench, stop at the lookout deck located to the left. Go behind the lookout. Ten steps directly behind the lookout is the letterbox with a royal blue lid. Leaves and twigs may be slightly covering it. Continue to complete the hike after working with the letterbox.
