Bring your own inkpad and pen.
Locate the Spring Brook Prairie on Naperville/Plainfield Road to begin your adventure. Park in the parking lot with small aircraft flying overhead.
Go to the picnic shelter near the parking lot. From there you will find a grassy path going south. It is left of the pine trees. Take that path until it joins the gravel trail where you will make a left. Proceed on the path as it heads downhill. Turn left into to the tunnel that runs under the road.
Once you reach light you should take a right. You will see water on your left. Head up the steep hill. In the distance, straight ahead, you should see a pine tree.
When you come to an intersection in the road, go left. Up ahead the trees form a small canopy. Proceed ahead. At the curve in the road there are several fallen giants in the brush to the left. The letterbox is hidden inside the one that points towards the (out of place) electrical box (once spring and summer come, the electrical box is well hidden by all the foliage). You will find the letterbox away from the base.
If you have been successful, stamp or leave your signature.
Please return the letterbox to its original hiding place and conceal it well so that others may enjoy finding it. If the letterbox needs maintenance or attention please let us know. Thank you.
