Hudson Springs Park

Located on the East side of Stow Road north of 303. Just East of First and Main shopping district in Downtown Hudson. This park has a disc golf course, a large lake with fishing and boat rental, picnic areas and a large playground area.

Roundtrip 1.8 miles easy terrain you could push a stroller or ride a mountain bike on the gravel path.

The 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th boxes are micro-boxes. If your stamp is large please stamp into the 1st book and just sign in to the micro-boxes. The overall design would look better if you used multicolor ink (markers) to color the stamps. The micro-boxes do not have ink.
This is a very well traveled route and another hiker told us it is “loaded” with geo-caches.

Clues:
Park in the lot near the playground. Walk back across the road near the picnic shelter and boat launch. Walk over the wooden bridge and continue up the hill to the gravel path. Walk over the wooden bridge and past the bench on your right. Look for the large knot about 10’ up a tree to the right side of the path. Continue on the gravel path, head up the hill, when the path takes a sharp turn left stop. Look to the right side of the path for the tree with a bend about 2 feet off the path. The tree has two holes in the base. The hole blocked with the rock holds the Wild Kingdom Letterbox . Stamp this background in you log book and add the other 4 boxes on-top of the image.

Continue on the path be on the lookout for Rhoda, Mike and Talon. JJ and BE on the right side of the path hide the first micro-box.

A large, very large, uprooted tree will be ahead on the left. Follow this tree (on the ground) until it crosses another smaller downed tree. Look up this tree towards the path, two hollowed logs on the right of the tree and a rock marking the LB.

Continue on the path past the bench near the large white house. Follow the path over a wood bridge that crosses the brook. Midpoint is the 6th bench and a spooky tree to the left. A raised platform to the right another to the left and out of the woods you will go. Cross over the spillway and tee 14 of Disc Golf. Just ahead but down the hill is a cluster of trees. Nearest the path and the disc tee is a leaning tree with two cut logs at its base. The 3rd LB is in this log.

Head back towards your car you can stop before the playground and walk the tree maze. Before you go to your car walk back towards where you started behind the sand volleyball court. The largest cluster of large trees (4 or 5 trunks) hides the final LB.
