This walk is roughly 1 mile and a half to the box. The walk is just beautiful in all seasons. Runs down a nice open dirt/gravel trail. Along the way you'll see the remains of an old home long forgotten. Look for a stone chimney peeking out from the ground on the left as you enter the trail. If you walk closer, you'll see it is part of the remains of a stone basement. Really cool...kids love this especially! Also on this walk you'll come to a stunning and picturesque reservoir.

~~~~Start in Glastonbury by heading North on Hebron Avenue. About half a mile past the intersection of Manchester Rd/Hebron Ave you'll find "Old Hebron Ave" on the left. Take this left and park all the way at the end on the side.
~~~~Enter the trail by the meta/log gate. Follow past an old cement building on your right. Keep straight on the trail for roughly a half a mile. Once you reach the end of the strait gravel trail, you'll see a dirt trail up the hill to a pump house. Follow to the wall at the pump house. You can step over the wall, plenty of walking room on the otherside.

~~~~Take a left from the pump house to the 5 trunked tree straight ahead. Follow the trail to the right keeping the reservoir on your right at all times.
~~~~The trail will bear to the left with another smaller trail going straight through "The enchanted forest." Follow trail around to the left. Pass under fallen tree and up the hill.

~~~~Keep straight on the trail to almost the very end of the reservoir. About 20 steps before the brook at the end of the trail look for a fallen tree on your right.
~~~~Follow along the left side of the fallen tree towards the reservoir. At end of the tree, take 20 steps to stump in front of you. Turn to the right. Straight ahead 15 steps you'll find FROG BOY's Box hidden snugly under the fallen end of the tree.

Happy Hunting.....ribbit ribbit
