From downtown Nashville take 1-40 east 5 miles to exit 219- Stewarts Ferry Pike, right on Stewarts Ferry Pike, straight on Bell Rd for 5 miles, left on Smith Springs Rd. 1 mile (there are Corps directional signs from this point), left on Anderson Rd. 1 mile. Turn left into the parking lot just past the entrance to the campground.
Anderson Road Fitness Trail on Percy Priest Lake is paved, more than a mile long and winds through a cedar glade area beside the lake. When you reach the end of the mile long trail, either turn around and go back or turn right on the paved road and you have about a half mile walk back to your car, on the paved road.
Red Rose: Love
Start off on the paved path, walk about 1/3 mile, until you reach a spot where a sort of beat up paved path vears off to the left, and then hooks back up to the main trail 50 steps later. From this point where it hooks back up to the mail trail, start counting your steps. At 140 steps you see a small bench overlooking the water. 28 more steps and you see a thick oak tree behind a cedar on your left. It's in the roots of this oak tree... no.. not up front there in the obvious place.. it's around back, on the back side of the roots of the oak.
Bachelor Button: Single Blessedness
Continue on the path in the same direction. Pass the barely noticeable 1/2 mile marker, and go almost another quarter mile. On the right see a bundle of thick trees, about 3 steps off the path. There are 3 thick cedars, and 2 other trees, one of which is sort of twisted around a cedar. The box is in the middle of this bundle of trees.
