Flat terrain
From Hole #1 around 700 -800 yards, but could be way shorter (100 yards) if you can figure out the maze of roads and park closer to hole #6

This is the 3rd in the Disc Golf series. There are several disc golf courses listed on tulsadiscsports.org and pdga.com, so hopefully we’ll get to them all. These disc golf courses are usually in existing parks. There are also other websites dedicated to this sport and should provide you with the information needed to find these letterboxes.

Now remember you’re looking for letterboxes not a candle maker or a character on “Friends”. When you get to the park you need to go to the upper level past the swimming pool, blue playground equipment and baseball field. Hole #1 is near shelter #3. Make your way to hole #6, stand on the cement pad facing the basket like your going to play the hole. Turn right and walk approx. 22 steps between the 2 trees to the gravel road. Turn left and walk down the road between 100 and 110 steps. The road turns to dirt and then sort of disappears, but just keep following the tree line to finish out your steps. You should see a path through the trees on your right. Walk down the path until you come to a drop off with a large Y shaped tree overhanging it. It’s about 40 steps total from the tree line. Turn around the way you came and walk 10 steps from the Y shaped tree. You should see another large tree about 6 steps to your right. There is a hollowed out hole at the bottom of the opposite side of the tree. We placed a flat rock over it. CONGRATS!!! You found it. The stamp represents what a person with the job of the name of the park would make.

We are a family of 5 and we hope to hide many more letterboxes. The clues should have different looks depending upon which family members make them up. As always, we enjoy hearing from you and welcome comments and suggestions.
