These letterboxes are located in Leawood Park, near I-435 and Lee Blvd. From State Line and I-435, go north to 103rd Street. Turn left (west), and go about 1/2 mile to Lee Blvd. Turn left (south), and go about 1/2 mile, across the I-435 bridge to the Leawood Park entrance.
Purple Turtle Max
Go through the main entrance to the park that will have large Black Gates. Park in the first lot that you notice. Go straight back to the Main Gate in which you entered. Look under the Cedar or Pine tree that is on the island (the island has 3 trees and is lined with red bushes) and is closest to the Main Gate wall. The Purple Turtle Max is located at the bottom of the tree, and is stuck in the branches.
Ajax Yukon Moose
Go through the main entrance to the park that will have large Black Gates. Park in the lot that is first on your left. Across the parking lot you will see 3 gazebos. Go to the one that is furthest to the West, and stand in the center of it. Look West southwest and you shall see a path that goes over a bridge and into the woods. Go across the bridge, and follow the asphalt path until you see the Mountain Bike Trail sign to your left. Get on that trail at the sign. At the first “Y” intersection in the path, take a left. Keep going until you come to the large gray wall. Keep coming to the tall hump in the trail. To the right, you will see a tree with a spiraling vine around it. The Ajax Yukon Moose is on the other side of the tree.
