ATTENTION:
This box is retired until the next Holiday season.

Bring markers for a colorful stamp!
Trail is mostly paved and about a 1 mile round trip.

CLUE:
It’s winter and the birds are migrating. This little guy seems to have landed in Milwaukee! Pay him a visit this winter before he floats away.

Start walking at Harnischfeger Playground, with the bowling pins to your right and the generous people to your left. Head south on the paved walk after pausing to enjoy the view. Continue past the anchors to the oak leaf. No vehicles allowed! Enjoy the scenery of this walk without the stress of finding clues until you reach the periodic flowing water. Carefully cross this engineering feat and continue on the paved trail heading south. Walk until you reach the end of the paved wall to your left. Looking at the beach you will see a lonely boulder. Standing with the boulder between you and the water, and your back to the boulder, take a reading of 270 degrees. Approach the pile of smaller rocks at this reading. When the pile is at your feet, reach down to find our floating friend resting among the rocks.

For those who don't know what I mean by "pile of smaller rocks" or claim that my compass is broken, please go the Atlas Quest for a picture clue/gift/dead giveaway. Happy Holidays. :) This is the ONLY letterbox I'll give extra hints on.

Please be secretive as this is a busy area even in Winter.
