This letterbox is really just an homage to how beautiful Maryland could actually be if people took the time to stop and look around once in a while.
Directions from 83: Take 83 north to Warren Rd. Proceed down Warren approximately 2 - 2.5 miles (you will pass over loch raven bridge) look to your right do you see a place to pull over? There are several which might make this a little challenging. Look for two Orange poles in the ground and a Fire Road Sign as well as an upside down sign for mountain bike trail..(both signs are faded so look carefully) pull in right there you will see a trail heading down to the water...follow trail until it bears left and make your first right possible, there will be a small trail here that will lead you to the waterfront. Do you see some trees and stumps? Well take a moment look over the reservoir and then look down to the base of the right tree...your treasure awaits you there!
