Corduroy Gets a Button LbNA #27296 (ARCHIVED)

Corduroy looked down and noticed that his button was missing again. He went searching for it. “What a large building,” thought Corduroy. He tried to make out the name, but it was too much. He read the first letter of each word: N...S...B on one line and and L...P...L on the next. He thought this would be a good place to search. Sneaking in through the main doors with some people, he began to look for his button. He didn’t see his button on the carpet inside the doors, and started to climb up for a better view, but an attendant on the left almost saw him, so he hurried off to the right. What a friendly area this was. He saw miniature furniture, and lots of computers on short tables. There were shelves filled with books. He climbed to the top of a desk, and saw a sign that said “Story Time.” Corduroy always wanted to be part of story time, so he walked that way. He was very surprised by what he saw. There on a high shelf he saw himself! He climbed up the ladder of shelves and was reaching into the shelf where his twin was. His paw clutched a small package behind his twin when he heard a familiar voice. “There you are,” Lisa said, “I’ve been looking all over for you. And your button came off again, too. I’ll just have to fix that.” And she did, too.
