It's taken me a couple of years to get back to check on this one. The original trail is gone but I found her!! Extremely happy about that. I've removed her from her hiding spot and could possibly replant, after some overdue maintenance.
I did this stamp for my sweetie on her 7th birthday. It's in the Lowami Hart Woods Park. Not sure how long it will last since they are renovating the park. We'll see. Trails are pretty muddy when wet. I recommend boots.
Hitchhiker friendly: Yes
Handicap friendly: no
Kid Friendly: Maybe, if they can handle hills
Shouldn't take more than 30 minutes
Go to the park entrance across from SW 149th ave. Stand in front of the park regulations in the clearing. Go down the trail on your left a few feet to the trail on your right. Go across the bridge. When you get to the conjoined twins there will be another trail to the left, (rumor has it a Superhero as a secret lair near here). Follow that trail to the fire pit in the middle of clearing. There is a bridge going across the creek. Go across, passed the old flagpole and up the hill (it's pretty steep). When you get to the top, the trail will bend left. Step over the fallen limb. Look left for the mighty giant. The box is behind it under some (you guessed it) rocks.
