This box is planted in T yler S tate P ark
S chofield F ord B ridge entrnace off of S wamp Road-just up the hill past B ucks C ounty Community C ollege.

Terrain is pretty easy, there is a hill from the parking lot down to the path with wodden log steps. Bring your own ink, Black would work best I think.

This prolific singer-songwriter left his indelible mark on American Music that will never be forgotten. After years of drug and alcohol as well as chronic health problems he died in his late 20's leaving behind a stormy marriage and a young child. His extensive body of work included songs of love, loss and longing. His unique voice and sound made him stand apart from other musicians of his day. During his career he had been fired from record labels and thrown off tours because of his behavior and drug problems. Now, years after his untimely death that robbed us of all of the great music that was still in him, he is remembered as a musical genious, a lyrical innovator whose impact on music still resonates today. He is my all time favorite artist of any musical genre. Can you guess who he is before you find his letterbox? Say it out loud now.....good! Email me once you've found the box and let me know if you've guessed correctly.

Clues:
Park in Covered Bridge lot, head down trail to the bridge. Just before you get to the bridge there is a horse trail on your right, take it. Follow path to the creek. You will see 2 or 3 large trees w/roots exposed on the creek edge on left. Approx 18 medium sized paces past them (including the log you'll step over) you will see two more large trees on the right, about 10 feet apart with a branch on the ground between them. Stand between the trees, facing away from the creek and into the woods. With your arm straight ahead of you it's 12:00. Turn your arm a little to the left to approximately 11:00. Look into the woods, about 30 feet or so, you will see two logs, 1 small and light colored, one large and dark colored. The music you here is coming from the roots of the larger log.

As always PLEASE BE DISCREET! This is abusy park and people up on the hill and acroos the creek can see you. Please rehide better than when you found it, but in the same spot!

Please drop me a line at hikers_n_hounds@yahoo.com and let me know how you made out.
