Located in the Kings Gap State Park.

Directions to Kings Gap: Off of interstate 81 exit 14 at Carlisle Pennsylvania go south on state rout 34 (Holly Pike) for approximately 4-miles to Pine Road. (If you get to the town of Mount Holly Springs you have gone too far.) Turn right onto Pine Road for approximately 5-miles and the entrance to the park is on the left.

Clue:
Drive to the top of King's Gap and park near the mansion on its west side (park just before the mansion). There is a small information pavilion where several trails start. Read through all of the clues before starting out. There will be clues that you must gather to help you complete your journey.

Start by following the trail that is the same color as the 'z' on the phone booth near the pavilion. We will call this color 'your primary color'. As your travel on this path, count the number of your primary colored dots that are on the trees facing you between the start and the carriageway crossing. Save this as 'your special number'. Following your primary colored trail, cross the carriageway and continue until you arrive at the trail colored your primary color mixed with blue. Take this mixed colored trail until you get to a white marker. The marker will have the number of stars on the American flag plus the second letter of the alphabet on it. From this marker, count the number of dots on the trees facing you. Stop at the tree that is 'your special number'. Facing Cumberland valley, you will see a rock that is the highest point on the vista. Climb this rock and enjoy the view. From this high point and still facing the valley, look towards the 11:00 direction. Go to the rock that is in this direction that looks as if it has a tree growing out of it. The tree is bending towards the trail. On the east side of the rock (the opposite side as the tree) there is a lip on the rock. Dig into the leaves between the rocks to find the treasure.

We hope that you found it and had fun doing it. We would love to know where you are from. Please include the date and where you are from with your stamp. Email us if you there is a problem with the treasure. Please replace the treasure in all of its containers and bags for the next travelers. HAPPY LETTERBOXING!
