Hike Distance: 3/4 mile Roundtrip
Terrain: Easy, Flat paved trail

Directions to Location:
This letterbox is located a 1/4 mile off the Appalachian Trail. So, if you're a day hiker or a thru hiker, this may provide a quick diversion to your typical hike. If you're driving to the site, you'll want to begin on Route 72. Travelling North on 72, pass through the traffic light in Lickdale, then turn Right on a road named after the fifth President. Travel for 0.9miles and turn Left on the Road whose name is the same as the middle letter in PSU. Continue on this road and you'll soon notice the white blazes of the Appalachian Trail. Find a convenient parking space to follow the trail westward.

Clues:
Begin your adventure by following the Trail Blazes across the Swatara Creek. This beautiful iron bridge was built in 1890. In the 1980's, the 'Waterville Bridge' was moved from Lycoming County to it's current location. Crossing the bridge you'll discover that you're visiting the Swatara Creek Water Trail. This section of the trail includes several miles of abandoned roads, which make it a great place for biking & easy hiking.
As the Appalachian Trail continues straight, you'll want to turn Northward and follow the abandoned road along the Swatara Creek. Continue for 300yds and turn left onto a hiking trail. A short distance later you'll notice a rock face on your left. Begin counting paces at the start of the rock face. When you reach 7 paces, you'll find your hidden prize under the letters of Love

Please re-hide well.....enjoy the rest of your visit, and contact us to let us know what you think.
