Directions: From interstate 89 (exit 17) go east on route 4 for about four miles looking for High Street on the right just before the center of town (on a sharp curve). Cross over Main street onto Shaker Hill Road and go 1.9 miles to Lockhaven Road. Take a left and go 2.5 miles to Boys Camp Road, take a right and go 1.2 miles to a pull off on the right side of the road. If you get to the bridge, you went too far.

Clues: Walk along the road in the direction you were driving and see a sign on the right (before the bridge) that says Crystal Lake-Collette Trail. Head down the stairs and on the left (at high water seasons) is a spectacular set of waterfalls. This trail is blazed in white and follows the brook the whole way to Crystal Lake. Just before the lake, there might be a white birch tree leaning towards (not over) the trail look for a low 40 foot ledge perpendicular to the right side of the trail (if you get to the lake (worth the few extra steps) you went too far. Part way up the ledge is a hemlock sheltering the Crystal Walley. Please be careful about rehiding the box and continue to the lake, perchance to take a dip when it's hot and sticky.

The stamp was carved by Gizz.
