This box is in the Loew Lake State Forest, near Holy Hill. Directions:
Take Holy Hill Road(167 West) from Hwy 41 west past 164 to St. Augustine Rd (CC goes other direction, Down Slope Pub is on kitty-corner.) Turn left(south) on St. Augustine to Emerald Drive, the first road on the right. Take Emerald past Donegal, past Shamrock, down the hill to the gravel parking lot entrance on the left for Loew Lake State Forest.
Total length of hike-about 1 mile, maybe less.
After parking in lot, take the trail that goes to the right(south)through the Cathedral Of The Pines. After leaving the Cathedral, follow the same trail as it winds to the left. You will now be at the southwestern edge of the Enchanted Valley. Continue on the trail-you will pass a trail to the left that crosses the middle of the Valley. Do not yield to the temptation of this trail. Instead, continue on as your trail bends to the right. The Pines Who Stand Together will be on your right. You will meet up with the Yellow Trail Of The Mammoth on your left, which you will take. Before you do, stop to admire the apartment house of the One Who Touches The Sky in the distance.
Continue on the yellow Mammoth Trail going roughly north. You may glimpse the Lake Of Longing on your right if you are lucky. At the first trail juncture, follow the blue trail to the left. In the middle of the Valley, you will see the trail of the One Who Races Like The Wind. Turn right on that trail, to the One Who Stands Alone. The box is in one of the arms on the ground that points to the East.It is not in the pile with the other arms.
