**RETIRED**
Located south of Elizabeth City is a sub-division called Queenswood. To get in the vicinity...Coming from the north, southbound on the bypass, head east off exit 256 (Foreman-Bundy). Coming from the south, you take the Business 17 route, northbound toward E-City. At the first stop light (Simpson Ditch), head east. Queenswood is located just southwest of the T of Simpson Ditch and Body roads, approximately five miles east of Highway 17 and the bypass. You'll find all of the streets are named after royalty. Amongst the homes are some common areas including a pond, several gazebos, a playground, and many walking paths linking different parts of the neighborhood. It is in one of these common areas that you will find the Queenswood Troll.

1/16/08: Box replaced and is open for business.

12/28/07: Box was flooded in recent rains. In process of repairing it. Will be open for business soon.

6/18/2007: The letterbox was muggled. Someone took it and replaced it with a surprise. The box has been replaced and has a new stamp. If you hunted the box before it was muggled, please rehunt the box and log in to get the new stamp. The new logbook also needs your stamp. Hopefully this one will go undisturbed by muggles.

The riddle goes like this:
Everyone knows where most Trolls live,
It's not what they take, but what they can give.
Passage beyond is what we all seek,
The strong get by, he devours the weak.
The Queenswood Troll is different than most,
Friendly to letterboxers from coast to coast.
You can find him between King Art and Prince Will,
Under a narrow wooden structure, kneel on the NW hill.
Tidy and neat, you'll find this one is,
On a high shelf, next to a beam, this home is all his.
X marks the spot as it does with them all,
Fear nothing, the Queenswood Troll waits for your call.

(However, as with everything in the wild of North Carolina, please be watchful for snakes when reaching under anything)
