Big Talbot Island State Park- The Bluffs
There is not a Ranger Station! Only an Honest John $2 fee.
Take the Shoreline Access Trail. Stay on the main path at the curve stay to your left. Continue on main path through the burnt forest. Go right at the pets on beach sign. where the path splits stay on the Shorline Access Trail-ALMOST THERE!! Rememeber to take in the beauty of your surroundings! the trail will narrow and go down hill slightly but you're on the right track. As the trail spilts again, take the trail to the left up the hill to the bench. Sit down and rest! Stand up turn your back to the water. You will see a giant oak tree about 20-30 feet away, behind which your treasure awaits. The note inside will explain your surroundings! Go sit on the bench facing the water before you open the box.
