My kids and I have spend a great deal of time at this pond feeding ducks or walking the hike and bike trails. It is fairly easy get to. From I35 near Pflugerville take the Wells Branch Exit and head west. Take the first right which will be Well Port. Drive approx. 1.2 miles to Mills Pond. Go to the walking path overlooking the pond. Take the path going south over the bridge. Walk to the bench. From the bench walk 21 paces still going in the same direction. From here go down the hill on the wooded side until you meet a rock retaining wall. Look behind first rock on the second row. Please put the rock back and scatter with leave to keep the natural look. Watch out for poison ivy. It is usually everywhere. We usually bring some bread to feed the ducks. In the spring there are quite a few families of ducklings.
