THE PROSPECTOR HAS BEEN CONFIRMED MISSING AS OF NOVEMBER/2010 IT SEEMS AS IF IT WERE WASHED AWAY DO TO RECENT STORMS. A RECARVE IS IN PROGRESS AND WILL REPOST SOON!

To find The Prospector go to the park in Apache Junction for which this box is named for. Park in the southeast parking lot, near the basketball courts. Walk south until you come to 5 railroad tie posts. Walk between the railroad tieS and the yellow post with the vehicle sign on it. Walk along the wide path past the lone mesquite tree in the center until you come to the ten armed saguaro that is on the north side of the dirt path. Prospector is under some rocks at the base of a creosote bush about 10 paces north east of the saguaro. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Superstition Mountains.

Remember this is a desert area watch for snakes and critters.
