Wilda's Brew
In Cottage Grove Ravine Park, an adventure you'll find.
It should only take 45 minutes of your time.
Your journey will begin in the picnic area of the park.
A woodchip path to the right of the shelter
Is where you will start.
Continue Up, Continue down,
The witch has you running all around.
Make your assent and there on your left
Stands the bone tree with its dividing cleft.
(If on your right stands a stone, go back 20 paces to the bone)
10 paces in, 10 paces again stands his sentinel twin.
Behind and beneath, The Caldron you’ll find.
Quick! Back to the hunt! You’re running out of time!
The stream will switch sides, but hold your course,
If you take the wrong path things will get worse!
An arrow at 4 will show you the untrodden road
As it points you to Hisstricia’s abode.
She’s guarded by the sisters three, who now resemble tiny trees.
Behind the stump, under rot and leaves she lingers.
Reach carefully in or she'll bite off your fingers!
Continue on and you will find
Everything the witch has left behind.
Stay left, stay left and then left you should look,
her rustic throne for a log you mistook.
You may be tempted to take a seat,
And if you do you’re in for a treat.
There hiding behind the log hides The Witch.
Your journey is done, it went off without a hitch.
But quick, off to your car and away you must go
