As with the first Return to Sender series, you want to find the Franklin Wildlife Management Area on Plains Road off of Rt. 32. But this time, you want the main parking area that is located on your right just after you turn onto Plains Road.

I will rate this series easy, but there is a steep set of stairs, or you can by-pass the stairs with a longer walk. Round trip about a mile. There is only one logbook which is in the last box.

You will want to bring insect repellent with you and to wear blaze orange during hunting season.

Go through or over the gate and down the steps. At the fork at the bottom, stay right and go away from the shooting range. You will go past a swampy area on the left. Continue on and at the intersection go right. Follow this for a short way and start going uphill. At this point you will see a stonewall on your left. Follow the wall going uphill to the second very large tree. Just after this tree you will see a cliff in the wall. Under this cliff you will find Ziggy. Go back to the intersection. You can now see that there are two choices across from you. You want to make the right choice. Follow this smaller trail to the top of the hill where you will find some long-lost markers. At John's, sight 190* to find The Christmas Song. Return to the intersection and go left. Continue until you come to a small trail on your right marked by a several-sister cedar tree. Behind this cedar under some sticks and leaves you will find Hippogriff. Now go back towards your car. You will come to a low part in the trail with a nice view on your left. See the two-sister tree on your right? Look in its roots for Mountain Laurel.

As always, please rehide the boxes better than you found them.

Happy hunting!

I would like to thank Burning Feet for taking over this series.
