The Black Pearl was carved by PIRATE PRINCESS in the state of Washington as part of her postal letterbox, The Scurvy Pirates of Atlas Quest, and was sent to Florida for relocation

In the movie, The Pirates of the Caribbean: The Black Pearl, Captain Jack Sparrow tells Elizabeth what the Black Pearl symbolizes.
Captain Jack, "That's what a ship is, you know. It's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs but what a ship is... what the Black Pearl really is... is Freedom."

If ye be seeking the Black Pearl, she’s not berthed at Isla del Muerto. She be in Florida near St. Augustine at a place called Vilano Beach. Chart a course down South A1A to the dinning establishment called Two Can Terry’s. Have a bit o’ grub and some drink here and ye won’t be disappointed. Bear hard astarboard on Vilano Road and navigate the circle near her end. Ye’ll be on Ferrell Road but awhile, then steer starboard at Jerez Court (Porpoise Point Drive t’ the locals), then steer port onto Genoa Road. The currents be very tricky, and ye’ll cross Porpoise Point Drive again, down Loving Lane. At the end of Loving Lane make landfall and ye will see a Coquina wall to starboard. Ten paces WSW along the wall at a 250 degree heading will take ye to the Pearl’s berth. Look starboard among the rocks to find that which ye seek.
