To find this letterbox, you will need to know that:

1) Life is too short to drink bad ____.

2) Only one ____ brewed in Houston follows the Bavarian purity laws laid down in the name of this letterbox.

3) This ____ is named after the patron saint of brewers.

4) Do you know where in Houston this ____ is made?

5) To find this letterbox, turn off the Northwest Freeway feeder onto a street that might have been named after a female folk singer who was popular in the 1960's. (For a hint, watch the movie "Love Actually.)

6) Once on that street, do not turn on the street where this fine ____ is made, but on the street named after a substantial greenspace in New York City.

7) Sometime in the depressing 70's there was an equally depressing pop song that went something like--"In the year ____, if man is still alive . . . " If you add thirty to the number of the year in the title, turn into the driveway of the building with that number, you will be on the right TRACK. Park at the far end of the lot, as far as you can go, and walk straight ahead, looking for the TRACK. There will be a drainage ditch on your right, and a cyclone fence in front of you. You will have to look to your left for the TRACK.

8) Find the TRACK, turn left to follow it carefully. (Literally, a TRACK: rails, crossties and all.) Climb no Stairways to Heaven.

9) If you take the number of the year in the title of the depressing song mentioned above and subtract 2506, you will easily find the box.

10) The box is at the foot of a tree directly opposite that number, under a steel plate covered by the requisite leaves and organic debris.

11) The optimum time to find this box is about 12 noon on any Saturday. After stamping in, drive around to the front of the place this box honors, plunk down $5 between 12:15 and 1 p.m., and you will be entitled to two pints of some of the finest ____ ever made. Minors dragged along with their letterboxing parents do not need the $5 and are entitled to all they can drink of the finest root ____ ever made. We recommend getting there early and bringing a picnic lunch. We also recommend the Spring Bock. We'll get back to you with Summer, Fall, and Winter recommendations.

*****Update: Spring Bock is all gone =:-{. However, the Summer Pils is an exceptionally fine brew this year.*****
*****Further update: Summer Pils is all gone now. So is the Oktoberfest (it sells out instantaneously). Try the current Christmas Ale. A big hit at the last tour!****
