PIRATESS BETTY

This gorgeous seafaring maiden was hand carved by Castles 16 in the state of Georgia.
Betty was part of the postal letterbox ring: The Scurvy Pirates of Atlas Quest, and made the acquaintance of a dashing pirate named Calico Jack Rackham. Well, needless to say, Piratess Betty was smitten with Jack and wanted to be near him.

Piratess Betty, having heard of Jack's successful return to Florida, packed her sea bag and shipped out to find him there. She arrived on the Northeast Coast of Florida and started searching for Jack. Rumor had it that he was last seen on Fort George Island. Betty went there and looked high and low. She checked the Island from top to bottom and was about to give up when she came upon a place discovered by the French explorer Jean Ribault in 1562 (http://www.floridastateparks.org/fortgeorgeisland/default.cfm). You may find them relaxing in the sun at this place now called the Ribault Club (http://www.theribaultclub.com/about.html).

Clues:
From the rocking chairs on the back porch, take the path 110 degrees due East that leads to two picnic tables by the water. Due South from the picnic tables you'll spy a cedar tree. Jack & Betty are nestled behind the cedar tree. Palms down.
