Surrounding the Guadalupe County Court house is letterboxes all within walking distance or short drives.
1. Pecan- The State Nut of Texas, 3. Freedom Fiesta, 2. Zuehl Gate, 4. Memorial Rose Garden (Corazon), 5. Doll House, 6. Los Nogals, and 7. Campbell Cabin (numbers represent a suggestion of the order to go in). As of today 7-8-07, they are all in place. We hope you enjoy your time in exploring Seguin.
Freedom Fiesta is the annual 4th of July Celebration in Seguin. This is a family favorite and tradition. Join us for the parade and fire works only with the Freedom Fiesta fair.
Clues:
When coming to Seguin you will go to the Guadalupe Co Court House located at the corner of Austin Street (123 business) and Court Street (also known as 90A). The court house is located at 101 E. Court St. The letter box is in the park behind the court house. There is a marker that notes the German Pioneers (near but not past Juan Seguin Monoment). Just behind the plaque and buried beneath the mulch just center of the plaque is the Freedom Fiesta.
Look for other letter boxes in the area. More will be planted regularly.
