Boxes were pulled for a short while, but as of 8/28/07 they are back in place and waiting to be found.

Clues:
The Velveteen Rabbit is a wonderful story of a boy and a velveteen rabbit that he loves so much it turns real. It's my all time favorite and I hope that if you haven't read it yet, you will.
There are no stamp pads or markers in these boxes so bring your own.
The boxes are in Wadsworth State Park. Parking for these boxes is in Middlefield on Cherry Hill Road which is off of route 157. Route 157 is also Main Street.
From parking area, walk across bridge, cross over railroad tracks (these tracks are still in use so be careful ). Trailhead is up the road on the left.
Entering the trail you will follow the yellow trail which begins almost immediately to your right. The main trail is orange so don't confuse the two. The first yellow blazed tree has fallen down so you won't see yellow blazes right away. Follow yellow up hill and when you come to a point where the trail bears left and there is a parking lot in front of you, look along the stone wall until you see a cluster of cherry trees. A single sister and a two sister. Go to the single sister and look low in the stonewall behind a trapdoor for the Velveteen Rabbit.
Go back out onto the trail and continue following yellow. You will begin to see trees marked in red on your right. Look for the smooth barked hickory which has a red blaze, a high fork and a hole in it about six feet up. Look on the right side of that tree inside the tree. Here you will find the Skin Horse.
Back out on the yellow trail and continue on. Say hi to Flying Dragon 11 as you pass by. Shortly you will start to go downhill. At that point you will see a yellow blazed grey birch on your right. From the yellow blazed birch head right to the 3 foot stump, pass it and a grey rock on your right. Just past the rock you will see a decaying tree between two other trees. Inside the decaying tree under the bark you will find The Boy-Scarlet Fever.
Take your time and look around while you are hunting these boxes because as you know, the Velveteen Rabbit turned real and you just might spot him in the woods. I know I look for him whenever I'm outside.
