Elmers fountian is a fun little stop along Interstate 90 in North Idaho. There’s a couple of artesian fountains, a picnic table, and various old mining equipment. In the winter the fountains makes a large ice mound.
If your going east take exit 66 – Gold Cr.
If you’re going west you’ll go by the fountain, then take the exit 67, over the bridge, back on to the interstate eastbound, and then exit 66.
After you look at all the interesting things, look under the west end of the “Gold Creek Mines” ore car.
Have a fun and safe Lb time.
