Status of Microbox: Box went missing - Retired

The "Support the Conservancy" microbox is dedicated to the Nature Conservancy, which in my opinion does the best job in protecting natural places by actually aquiring the land and managing it, or working with the park system to create bigger parks. It is located in a great park along I-70, at hanging lake (other boxes to get).

Directions:
Take the Hanging Lake exit (signs), exit 125 if coming from Glenwood (or if coming toward Glenwood you will need to take Exit 121, then go back to exit 125). Park in the lot by restrooms.

To the Microbox:
Walk along the paved path to the end, with lake on your right, until you reach the bridge, and sign on right for trail to Hanging Lake. Hike up the trail until you reach the first bridge. Cross it, then count 25 steps up the trail until you reach a wood bench on the left. Go behind the bench for 3 steps into the cavelike structure, then look at the left wall's base for a pile of small rocks. Microbox is under this pile. Please pile high again to avoid it being discovered on accident.
