A true Love Story…
My husband and I both grew up here in Joshua. We lived with in a mile or two of each other. We had some of the same friends, attended the same elementary school, had to have eaten lunch in the same cafeteria, played on the same play ground yet never met.
As a young man attending a college and career class at church he was asked what he was looking for in a wife. Since he was the only one in class that morning his teachers decided to make a list of all the characteristics the perfect woman for him would embody. They made the list and prayed.
A few weeks later while working I met a lady and as we talked she exclaimed, “You’re the one we prayed for!” After her persistence and my curiosity got the best of me I followed her to church….
The rest is HIStory as they say…
The End
We hope you have fun searching for the “LUV Box”. When you find the box you’ll see a symbol that “Makes the world go ‘round” & you won’t be far from our first meeting spot! Make sure to take a token of love home when you visit.
Clue:
In Joshua, find the First Baptist Church of Joshua (not Joshua Baptist Church). Accross Main Street from the church is a large parking lot. Go to the Southwest corner of the lot and park. From there follow the small trail leading to the train tracks. Go 8-10 steps and find a group of three small trees. At the base of those trees, under a flat rock, you will find The LUV Box.
