Go to the Anza Borrego State Park Visitor's Center near Borrego Springs, California. Park in the Visitor's Center parking lot and walk towards the Visitor's Center. When you are near the Visitor's Center, take the nature trail. Stop when you are near the sign that reads "Shaping A Desert-Water, Wind & Earthquakes." Walk straight out on the left side of the sign towards the distant mountains (north) about 45 "nine year old kid" steps. You will go past 3 bushes and 1 cactus on your right. The letterbox is around on the back side of the large bush straight ahead. Watch out for snakes, scorpions, and other desert critters.
