This is the first box in a series that I will plant in places that have been featured on Oregon Field Guide, a show on OPB that explores the great Oregon outdoors. This will be an ongoing series of boxes that I'll probably never finish!

West of Eugene is Dragonfly Bend, a part of the Amazon Creek Wetland Restoration area and maintained by the West Eugene Wetlands association. Find the corner of Royal and Greenhill. The northeast corner contains Dragonfly Bend. It doesn't look like much in the winter, but in the summer, colorful dragonflies are thick and happy here.

Minimal parking is across the street, on the south side of Royal a short ways from the intersection. You will find the box here.

Your starting point is the fence post on the east side of the parking area.

Big rock.
Big rock.
Small rock small rock.

Big rock.
Look behind the big rock.
Think moss.

Please be sure it is well-hidden when you are done! Enjoy!
