------------new location ~ new stamp---------------------

Easy walk.
Kid-friendly, pet-friendly.
Hand carved stamp.

From I-40 take Louisiana south to Eastern. The Memorial is at 1100 Louisiana (east side of the road), just before the military base. Park in the parking area.
In the rose garden rotunda area you will see a map of the Veterans' Memorial Garden.
Make your way to the large black wall off to the SE corner of the park,
Stand in front of the black wall facing the wall. Move over to the far left so you can see the two evergreen trees. Walk to the farthest tree. Stand with your back to the tree, exactly center, the box is hidden a little right of your right foot. Please re-hide carefully!

Also, please be subtle, this box was lost once. We suspect the grounds crew does not like loiterers, they love this park, it si a labor of love for the folks who work there.

The grounds are beautiful, take some time to stroll around the garden and amphitheater.
The FREE museum is open Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon from 9-3. and has rotating exhibits quarterly.
There is a real periscope in the museum through which you can view Albuquerque.
