Thank you everybody who found or attempted my letterbox. I am relocating my letterbox to be closer to my new residence. I will update the information when the move is complete.

This letterbox is hidden in Blue Spruce Park. If you are unfamiliar with the park’s location, the best way to get to this park from Downtown Indiana is to turn on to N. 4th Street (Old Rt. 119) from Philadelphia Street. Continue following this road until you see a sign for Rt. 110 which will veer to the left. Take this road. Continue along Rt. 110 until you see signs for the entrance of Blue Spruce Park which will be on your right.

If you are coming from another location it is easiest to get to Blue Spruce Park off of Rt. 119. Whether you are coming from the N. or S. you will want to take the PA-110 W ramp toward Creekside. Follow the signs for PA-110. Continue on PA-110 until you reach the Blue Spruce Park Entrance which will be on your right.

Once you have successfully reached Blue Spruce Park follow the signs to the Lodge and park in the Lodge parking lot. When you turned into the Lodge parking lot you might have noticed a vehicle/maintenance gate. This is where you will start your hike. Incase you did not see this gate, it is located on the road to the left of the lodge and is painted a brown color. You will follow the path behind this gate looking for the Aspen trailhead on your left. If you reached the pump station you went too far.

Continue on the Aspen trail. When you reach the Aspen trail maker with < >, veer to the left trail. Keep in mind that the red paint marks on the trees for the Aspen are a good sign you are on the right track.

Upon reaching the clearing with powerlines, look for the trail maker sign. Two trails are marked on it, the Aspen trail and the PCC trail. You will be taking the PCC (yellow trail). Follow the PPC trail up the hill and continue on the trail until you reach the point where the trail branches to the left (you will eventually be taking this trail). At this branch is a wooden trail marker for the PPC trail. Stand next to this trail marker.

Count 60 steps following along the path. At the end of 60 steps look to your right for a medium sized rock next to the trail. Behind and under this rock is the letterbox. Please take caution when reaching for this letterbox to make sure no critters have made a home under it.
