Uh oh...appears to be missing. 1/09

Box alive and well as of 7/08

From the 101 Fwy, take the Moorpark exit and head south. (If you hit Thousand Oaks Blvd, you went the wrong way.)
Moorpark Road ends at the Los Robles Trail. Park your car here and enter the main trailhead. Stay on the main trail for about 1/4 mile until you come to a brown sign for the Oak Creek Canyon Loop Trail. Turn right and go downhill a short distance until you reach a Y in the trail. Continue downhill (left). After another short distance, you will join with a whole access trail, evident by the brown fence running alongside the path and the informative signs written in Braille. From here, it's about another 1/4 mile to the letterbox.
At the end of the whole access trail will be a small restroom and a freestanding drinking fountain. From the fountain, retrace about 60 paces back along the path you just took. On the right side of the trail will be a large oak tree. Walk around to the back of the tree and you will find the box hidden underneath sticks and bark in a crevice a few feet off of the ground.
After finding the box, you can exit the trail near the water fountain or go back along the whole access portion, turning right instead of left at the Y. If you turn right when you reach the road, either of these routes will complete the "loop" and return you to the main trailhead where you began.
