Pecan Paradise
This letterbox was placed in honor of the Pecan Harvest Festival. It is held each year, the first weekend in November in Alto, Texas about miles southeast of Nacogdoches. There are arts and crafts booths, cooking contests for recipes containing pecans and lot of fun for everyone of all ages. To find the "Pecan Paradise" letterbox go to Pecan Park in Nacogdoches, on just down from University Drive. Walk toward the bathrooms, find the sewer drains. Go to the sewer drains walk 28 steps to cedar tree, letterbox is at base of the cedar tree. Please rehide well as this is a very high traffic area.
