Let's Go Astros! is planted at Shadow Bay Park near Universal Studios in Orlando. My Dad and I went to Florida for Spring Training this year and on a morning run in the park, I planted this letterbox in honor of my "home team". Originally I wanted to plant it at the Astro's Spring Training Ballpark, Osceola County Stadium, but I didn't know how easy it would be to access the box if the 'Stros weren't in town.

Directions to Shadow Bay Park: On I-4, in Orlando, take exit 75B, Kirkman Road. When on Kirkman, you will go through a red light at Major, one at Vineland (look for the Golden Corral and Walgreens on your right), go over a bridge and when you get to the red light at Conroy, take a left onto Conroy. There will be a Mobil station on your left and a 7-11 on your right. Go through the next light and over an overpass. Take a left at the next light, Turkey Lake Blvd. Turn right into Shadow Bay Park ( about a quarter of a mile down the road).

When in the park, you will cross a small speed bump and pass a big metal electric tower. Park near the next speed bump, which is much bigger than the first one you went over.

To the box: At the big speed hump just past the electric tower, look to your left and you will see a green metal trash can with a dog sign behind it. Just beyond this sign is a sandy trail. Follow this trail until you get to the "T". Straight in front of you, stand five pine trees with a sixth one fallen in front of them. The camo letterbox is hiding behind the second standing pine tree from the left, in the back, covered with branches. Orange ink would work well for this stamp!

Please let me know how the letterbox is doing!
