This lb was replaced on May 25, 2012 in a different location in the cemetery.
This lb is located in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, where numerous confederate soldiers were buried who fought in Vicksburg.
Find the Confederate section of this beautiful old cemetery and locate the “Confederate Dead” memorial statue. Park next to the statue. Now from the statue, walk up the hill past a large magnolia tree and look to your left for a plot with 8 headstones in it and it is surrounded by a low brick and cement wall. Find the headstone for Mary O'Gorman. Behind her headstone is a piece of the wall that has come apart. the lb is located under that piece of wall. (The piece of wall that it is under has one of the "columns' as part of it)
Be sure to find the “Hats Off to the Soldiers” letterbox while in this cemetery.
