The Green Boundary Club is a great place to visit in your spare time. This club was built in 1928 by a man named William Zeigler. At this time this house served as a home for one man. He lived in the house by himself. After he died, the house was purchased by several families who used it as a restaurant one day a week. Their servants had Thursdays off, so they would eat at the “club” on that day. Whoever called the club first would decide the menu for the day. The house is still a club where members can play games and be served food. Members enjoy fox hunting, horses and croquet. There is even a regulation court in back of the house. We hope that you get to visit this interesting place someday.

Go to the corner of Whiskey Road and Mead Avenue. Turn onto Mead (it’s a dirt road). Turn right on the dirt driveway and go into the field. Park your car in this field. Walk straight toward the wooded area which surrounds an abandoned tennis court. The tennis court should be on your right. Keep going until you get to the end of the wooded area, and then turn right. Go to the bark that makes a “V”.
Walk to the left of that big tree.
Between 2 trunks there might be
A treasure for you to see!

(If you get to the croquet court, you’ve gone too far!)

(This letterbox was placed by Aiken County 3rd graders!)
4/3/10 PLEASE NOTE- GREEN BOUNDARY HAS REVITALIZED THE HIDDEN TENNIS COURT AND IT SEEMS THAT THE LETTERBOX HAS DISAPPEARED!
