I was on my way home last weekend from TAG - The Arkansas Gathering. You could even say it was on my mind. That and the fact that I was passing right through a county that didn't have ANY letterboxes!
As I was traveling South down Highway 67 between Naples and Omaha, I ran across a historical marker that caught my eye - Stephenson's Ferry. It was a little southwest of the Bowie County line and the Sulphur River, right there on Highway 67! It turned out to be a great place to stretch our legs and get our blood pumping.
Lightning and I even climbed to the top of the hill to see what was on the other side. The hill was steep enough that we were glad for the big tree on the left side of the hill at the top to lean on when we got up there, but we think we might've lost something there. If you happen to go by there, just remember - TAG! You're IT!
