This letterbox is located at Longhorn Cavern State Park off HWY 281 between Burnet and Marble Falls on Park road 4.
The caverns are a great experience if you have the time/money. However, the rest of the park is great too and is free.
Behind the main building of the park, you will find “Back Bone Ridge Nature Trail”. Follow this trail and find lucky number 7. Go approximately 17 paces more. You’ll see a fallen tree to the left of the trail and a leaning multi-trunked tree to the right of the trail. This leaning tree is approximately 12 paces off the trail. Find the Irish Cheetah on the back side of the leaning tree in a hollowed out part of the tree.
