Hueston Woods State Park, just north of Oxford, OH.
(note a pace is considered one average step)
Clue #1 - Go to the Sycamore Grove inside the park. Park at the gravel area closest to the entrance. Cross the road to the Sycamore Trail. Go to the Right, 71 paces from the sign, down the trail until the trail and the creek first come close together. (if you are standing between the cut logs, go back 11 paces.) Turn your back to teh water and at 115 degress, walk 20 steps towards the valley of the dead twins. It is hidden behind the shorter one.
Clue #2 - Return to the trail and continue 68 paces. When you get to the 3 headed Sycamore (on your right), be sure to note that one head is broken-off. Go 270 degrees for 10 paces, and beneath the back of the knarled dead sorceress, you will find it. (It is down in a hole covered over!) Turn around and head back to the trail, pausing to notice the scrawny bodybuilder, flexing his bicept at you!
Clue #3 - As you head on down the trail, go 98 paces, and keep an eye out for the big rock on your left. Standing beside it on the trail, look directly in front of you at 130 degrees. You will see that "X" marks the spot!
Congratulations! You have (hopefully) completed this letterboxing adventure!
PLEASE BE SURE TO RE-HIDE THE BOXES VERY WELL! THIS IS OUR SECOND LETTERBOX HUNT IN THIS STATE PARK, THE OTHER ONE WAS DESTROYED BY VANDALS SO MANY TIMES THAT WE FINALLY WE HAD TO REMOVE IT! IF ANY ARE MISSING, PLEASE E-MAIL US AND LET US KNOW! Thanks! Happy letterboxing!
