This box is planted in honor of my baseball buddies, one is Darb.
From South George Street in York, turn onto Reynolds Mill Road. Proceed past Rombergers (on your left), and a large church (on your right). Shortly after this you'll come to Overlook Road on the right. Directly across from this is a poorly marked trail (trail #2A if you have a map) of Kain Park.
Take this trail. As you approach the woods you'll come to an electric right of way. Stay straight on the trail crossing over this ROW. You will be in a forest full of mostly hardwood trees. Keep your eyes peeled for pine trees (in the fall/winter/early spring these will be the only signs of green in the forest). Just before you come upon the right one you'll see an especially large tree on your right that is on the edge of the trail. Once you pass this tree you'll see a spur path that crosses your trail. On the right will be a small and scraggly white pine. Just behind it (and to the right as you look directly at it) will be a larger, very straight tree. At the base of this straight tree under vines, leaves, and sticks is where you'll find the baseball buddy box.
Ink pad is NOT provided. Brown is recommended. Please rehide well using the burlap bag. Have fun.
