There is a rose garden in Lubbock and each spring and summer the garden literally comes alive with roses! The rose garden is located at University Avenue and 40th street. There is a parking lot on the east side of the garden. Enter the garden through the northeast pathway. The letterbox can be found by following the path from the rose garden to the historic St. Paul's Church south of the garden. Continue south on the path just behind the church, down the steps to a big stone bench. The bench has two stone supports underneath it. The letterbox is snuggled against the southern support toward the back of the bench.
If you happen to go hunting in the spring or summer, be sure to stop and smell the roses along the way!
