This letterbox is located somewhere along the St. Peters Recreational Trail and therefore can be accessed from multiple directions, by foot or by bike. If you are biking the trail with kids, be aware that there are multiple crossings of busy streets, so don’t let them get away from you!

FOR A SHORT WALK:
Park off of Plum Tree near Sutters Mills Rd. Cross the bridge; the playground is on the other side of the creek.

FOR A LONG WALK OR SHORT BIKE RIDE:
From the south:
Leave your vehicle at Covenant Park on Willott Rd (blocks from Jungermann).
Walk/ride the path north (cross Willott Rd.).
When you get to the first playground, turn right, go over the creek, and turn left.
Continue on the path until you reach Spencer Creek Park playground.
From the north:
Leave your vehicle at the VERY western end of the St. Peters Rec Plex area, by the playground. Walk/ride the asphalt path across the bridge and pass the baseball fields. At the Y, go right, toward the bathroom hut. Then don’t go right toward the maintenance dome. Pass the concrete buildings on your left and go straight-ish into the woods, with pines on your right. Take the bridge across the creek and continue until you reach the Spencer Creek playground (the first one from this direction).

Once you get to the Spencer Creek Park playground, face the playground sign. Behind you will be a narrow dirt trail. This is this IN trail. Take the IN trail toward the creek and then near the creek turn north and you'll notice an OUT trail about 20 feet or so from the IN trail. Turn onto the OUT trail and follow it for about 12 steps. There will be a fairly large tree that is leaning to the left and forward.
Your treasure will be found at the roots of the tree with some chunks of concrete holding in it. You can stamp in at the picnic area by the playground and then loop around again. Please be sure to replace the box SECURELY, as this area floods frequently and I don't want it floating away! I would love it if you would contact me through www.letterboxing.org and/or Atlasquest.com to let me know that you found it!
