Harris Beach State Park is just north of Brookings in southern Oregon. Head down the entrance to the beach area as you get to the bottom you will see, on your right, the trail head for Harris Beach Trail. You won’t need to go very far up the trail to get this box. First walk about 15 paces to the picnic tables. You’ll head up the trail to the left and curve around to the right, then another small bend around to the left and then a large bend around to the right. You will see up ahead where the trail makes a sharp bend to the right again and goes up the hill, but don't go that far. Between these two curves is a smaller trail that goes up the hill. At 38 degrees off the mail trail is a tree with a V trunk, it’s in about 16 paces. The box is hidden behind the tree under some leaves and needles. Be careful and wear gloves if you have them as there are many berry bushes in the area. Cover the box well when replanting as this seems to be a busy area. Let us know how the box is doing, we only get to this area about once a year. Across 101 is the rest area and another box (Pinwheel).
