The first of a new series of boxes planted in cemeterys close to home and where we travel. Most will be mini boxes with a few full sized boxes.
R.I.P.1 is a mini box with hand carved stamp and log but no ink pad.

Gunntown Cemetery is your destination.
Follow Route 8 to Route 67 N. After about 2 miles go right on Chestnut Tree Hill Road which becomes Gunntown Road. Shortly after the name change the cemetery is on the right with parking for a car or two. Your way can be found coming from Naugatuck but here you will have to find your own way.
Enter the gate and pass the Osborne Pillar. Continue on and go between Davis and Nabby. Go to the north east corner and hidden in the top of the wall under three small rocks you will find what you seek.
Please replace carefully with the small rocks and let us know its condition.
