***This box has been reported as missing on 4/6/08 It is officially retired***

The Blooming Dogwood is located in the historic Oak Grove Cemetery. If you have never had the chance to walk around in this cemetery, I highly recommend taking the time. There are many Texas historical figures buried in this cemetery. If you want to really enjoy the cemetery, I would suggest a trip to the visitor center downtown and get the pamphlet that points out all of the historical graves first.

To the box
As you drive in the front gate, off of Lanana Street, drive towards the back of the cemetery. You will pass 2 trees in the middle of the road. The road will make a 90 degree curve to the right and then will begin to make another curve to the right which dead ends. Where this second curve begins, park. Look to your left, towards the Lanana Creek trail and you will see a large double trunk tree. If you are facing the tree and the trail, the box is to the right of the tree. Please make sure that this box is well hidden. Enjoy!!
