***9/20/2007--box removed for maintenance, will replace very soon.***
Greetings! This is our first letterbox planting, and first attempt at stamp carving, so please excuse our homeliness.....
This is a kid/stroller, pet friendly easy letterbox, bring a picnic and enjoy the grass.....This is a microbox, so please bring an ink pad and pen.
In East Denver, there is a park that shares the same common name as Lippia citriodora.
Near an old Air Force Base and directly next door to the 80220 United States Post Office, you will find this park.
Along the paved path, in the SouthWest corner of the park is a four post wooden fence. Below the fence is a small flowerbed and below that, a small rock field. Standing at the fourth fence post from the light pole, look down to see a black rock with a pink stripe that points back to the light pole. Under that rock you will find Lippia citriodora.
Please, be aware, this is an EXTREMELY busy park, with a lot of foot traffic, use all caution and stealth. We advice finding the stamp and then stamping in at one of the several picnic tables near by.
Remember...Not All Who Wander Are Lost....Good Luck.
