Clues:
The Longhorn Cavern Letterbox can be found at the corner of Highway 281 and Park Road 4. At this turn off you should see a large rustic wall flanking Park Road 4. One side has a sign for the Longhorn Cavern Park and the other side has an ornate window-like opening. Park on the side of the road that the sign is on (the left side as you turn off Hwy 281). There is a little pull-off area there. Near the back of the wall is a tall oak tree behind one of the boulders that make up the barrier. From the live oak tree, walk along the wall for 12 steps. Turn and face the wall. Look to your left. You should see a tall yucca plant. Look to your right. You should see three smaller yuccas all grouped together. The Longhorn Cavern letterbox is in the wall about midway between these yuccas. The 12th step should have brought you in line with it. Near the top of the wall is a spot where a rock has fallen out. The box in behind one of the stones that surround the hole, hidden behind another rock.
I hope it is there to welcome you to the park!
